Levi Strauss introduced the Lady Levi's in 1934 — the first women's jeans in history. The 201 model, produced before World War II interrupted civilian manufacturing, features the original women's cut with the distinctive high rise, the XX denim construction, and the original Lady Levi's paper patch. The combination of the pre-war manufacturing standards and the historical significance of the first women's jeans makes these among the most important denim artifacts in existence. Fewer than 20 complete authenticated pairs are known. Value: $30,000–$120,000.
