DESCRIPTION
Iron Heart's UHR-700 in 21oz selvedge denim — produced at the Okayama prefecture's Kojima factories — is the heaviest commercially available denim garment in history. Founded by Shinichi Haraki in 2002, Iron Heart produces jeans for serious denim enthusiasts willing to endure a 6-month break-in period. Early production runs from 2004-2012 are available for $150–$300. As the selvedge denim market continues to mature globally and Iron Heart's reputation as the most extreme Japanese denim brand grows, early production will be recognized as foundational. Upside: $500–$1,500.
