Detroit Jacket

The Detroit Jacket is Carhartt's most iconic piece, originally designed for Detroit auto workers. The blanket-lined version from the 1980s, made in USA before production moved overseas in the 1990s, features an exceptionally heavy 12-oz duck canvas. The brown duck colorway is the most classic. Made-in-USA examples are identifiable by the union label and are essential workwear americana. Clean examples sell for $400–$800.
