Gitman Bros — founded in 1978 in Ashland, Pennsylvania — produces what many consider the finest Oxford cloth button-down shirts in the world. The original 1970s and early 1980s production, before the brand was widely known outside of East Coast prep circles, features a heavier Oxford weave and more generous cut than contemporary production. Gitman Bros Vintage's current market position as a premium brand has created retrospective interest in original stock. Currently available for $30–$80.
