Surfboard Logo Tee 1984

Shawn Stussy began signing surfboards with his distinctive script signature in Laguna Beach in the early 1980s, and in 1984 began printing it on T-shirts. The original Stüssy tees — sold out of the trunk of Stussy's car at surf contests and beach events — are the founding artifacts of streetwear culture.
