Baggies Shorts 1982

The Patagonia Baggies — introduced in 1982 — are one of the most enduring garments in outdoor fashion history. The nylon taffeta construction, the integrated mesh liner, and the distinctive 5-inch inseam created a short that worked equally well for surfing, climbing, and urban use. Early 1980s Baggies made in the USA are significantly different from later versions — the weight, the finish, and the colorways have changed substantially.
