Swatch's Art Special series — including collaborations with Keith Haring (1986), Kiki Picasso (1985), and other artists — represents the founding moment of watch-as-art-object culture. The Haring collaboration sold out instantly and helped transform Swatch from a budget watch brand to a cultural phenomenon. Original 1985-92 Art Special Swatches in working condition with original box are available for $100–$300.
