The Synchilla Snap-T pullover introduced in 1985 defined a generation of outdoor fashion. Patagonia's proprietary Synchilla fleece — developed with Malden Mills — was softer and lighter than pile, and the Snap-T's distinctive button collar and kangaroo pocket became iconic.
