Marlboro's F1 sponsorship of Ferrari and McLaren during the 1980s produced some of the most recognizable corporate branding in sports history. The Marlboro Adventure Team and racing merchandise — produced before tobacco advertising was banned — carried the full Marlboro branding unobscured. In many markets these shirts are now effectively illegal to produce, making vintage originals extraordinarily collectible.
